Starbase Eleven Specifications
Starbase 11 was designed to be a self-sustaining center for Fleet operations, exploration and commerce within its region. With over 850 decks, this Ournal-class Starbase stands by itself as a multi-purpose space station. It can house up to 92 starships of various classes within its massive spacedock. With phaser strips, pulse phaser turrets and cannons, multiple torpedo launchers and point-defense systems, the Starbase can withstand a substantial number of enemy forces.The space station stands on its own as a defensive platform. However, it's defenses are not the only asset that this station boasts.
Whether a ship is just "passing through" or home-ported, a ship's crew will not be disappointed with the quality of life aboard. The station offers entertainment facilities on many levels, as well as a full commerce promenade. Visiting crews can put in requests to reserve guest quarters on the habitat level for a limited amount of time.With as much space as a starship's senior officers' quarters, it's certainly a welcome room for any enlisted or junior officer. The promenade offers restaurants, shops and entertainment from many different races throughout the Federation.There is a large variety of civilian shops with many rare artifacts available to purchase. For Starfleet personnel who don't have time to tour the multi-cultural promenade, various lounges on almost every deck are available for use.
